Who is behind the Course?
Hello, I’m Kostas!
After designing and delivering 40+ custom Carrd websites in 2025 alone, one thing became very clear: most people struggle with the exact same problems when starting with Carrd. Not because the platform is difficult, but because there’s very little guidance around structure, layout flow, spacing, and how to actually make a Carrd website feel modern.
That’s the reason this course was created.
Most tutorials focus heavily on features and shortcuts, while skipping the thinking behind good layouts and design elements of proper website.
But on this course the focus stays on understanding how Carrd is meant to be used in real projects, from one-page landing pages to multi-page business websites. So, if you want to invest in Carrd like I did, this is for you.

Is this suitable for complete beginners?

Yes. The course is intentionally structured for beginners who may have never built a website before, while still being useful for intermediate users who already use Carrd but feel their layouts lack consistency. The lessons start from the fundamentals, including how Carrd works, how sections behave, and how to think about structure before design. From there, the course gradually moves into styling, layout control, mobile optimization, and full guided builds.
Do I need coding knowledge?

No coding knowledge is required for this course.
Everything is built using Carrd’s native interface and built-in elements, including sections, containers, columns, buttons, forms, backgrounds, and mobile settings. The focus stays on understanding structure, layout flow, spacing, and how to make better decisions inside the builder itself!
What makes this different from free Carrd tutorials online?

Most free tutorials focus heavily on isolated features or fast-paced build-along videos without explaining the reasoning behind layout decisions.
This course focuses much more on structure, spacing, hierarchy, readability, and understanding why certain design choices work better than others. Instead of simply copying a finished layout, the process behind the layout is explained throughout the course.
Will we build real websites during the course?

The first project focuses on creating a clean, structured one page website with a clear section flow and strong readability. The second project is a full live build from an empty canvas, including layout decisions, spacing corrections, mobile fixes, and final publishing steps.

Is this course only about design?

Not entirely.
The course covers visual foundations and layout decisions in the beginning, but it also focuses heavily on practicality, the carrd features and settings and how visitors move through a page. Topics like spacing, hierarchy, button placement, readability, and mobile responsiveness are discussed throughout the videos and treated as functional decisions, not just aesthetic ones.

Some features demonstrated during the builds, such as custom forms, custom domains, more than 50 elements etc. require at least Pro Standard (just $19/year!).
